whenever St George's day comes up, I do wonder how many English people realise that their patron saint is Palestinian.
Saint Andrew of Scotland also came from the same area.
Presumably, neither country had anyone suitable to hold such a title, ;) However,
Dewi Sant ( Saint David) of Wales, on the other hand, came from the old kingdom of Ceredigion.. Native Saint :cg
