It is a hundred years this year since the world famous bust of Nefertiti was discovered at Tel el Amarna in the workshop of Tuthmosis in December 1912. Al-Ahram Weekly publish a lengthy article mapping the history of the discovery and the negotiations and arguments for it's return.
