So they now even have machines that rip you off? Will this not increase unemployment?

Seems to be happening quite a lot with the ATMs here at the moment. Had a similar thing happen recently at the National Bank of Egypt machine beside Ahmed Abu Nakara on Television Street.

Machine made a whirring noise as though counting the money and then came up with a 'failed transaction' message. I then went through the process again and out came the money. When I checked my account online, the money had been deducted twice. Called my bank in the UK (NatWest) to find out what to do; they looked into it and advised an automatic reversal was in process (still had to pay the bank charges on both transactions though).

So, keep an eye on your account and get in touch with your bank if the money has been deducted twice...
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

This happened to me at the Parabis Bank, I heard the 2000le been counted and then my card was delivered without money, however the 2000le had been taken from my account according to the receipt.. Four days later the 2000le had been credited back to my account. So they must have some sort of check on the money being deliverd, or in this case not....

It happened to me in TV-Street some years ago. The bank was closed and I was very nervous for some days, until it opened and I was invited to the manager's (they said) office. He already knew the problem and of course blamed "Cairo". He promised that I would see my LE 2000 in maximum four days time, but it took, I think it was five months. x:roll:

True.
My average sleep = 3 - 4 hours per night. sometimes much less, especially when I am away. Sleep eludes me quite often.

I once did 5 days straight without sleep. That was a pretty surreal time.. 8)
