The Ritz

The Ritz,

What a shithole !!

My first opinion as I entered the place, seeing the dirty table cloths and aged, stained crockery,

but I dont judge a book by it's cover.. 8)

I went to wash my hands before ordering and sitting down.
The Chef came put of the toilet having being sat down in there for some time judging by the stench, and walked straight into the Kitchen without washing his hands.

Au Revoir.. 8)

That does surprise me Z. We have usually visited The Ritz at least once on each trip to Luxor and have always found it clean and with good friendly service. The food, not Cordon Bleu :) but always nicely cooked and well presented.

Sorry to read your report. :(

Where is this place?

AS I remember its up a side street on the sheraton road on the right hand side just past the semiramis hotel......and no, I wasn't impressed either, with a name like that it bears as much resemblance to its namesake as a timex to a cartier!!
I don't have a plan......so nothing can go wrong!

I had never even heard of the place until now and now I know why! Sounds disgusting!

Best,
