Aida at the Pyramids

Post by HEPZIBAH »

I'm not mad about opera but enjoy going to one from time to time. This would be one of the occasions that I would really like to go, but alas I already know I cannot have time from off from work in March 2018. :(

150 years of Verdi's Aida. Pyramids Egypt, March 8th, 9th, 10th 2018

It was pretty good when originally performed at Hatshepsuit.... 8)

Went to this with my husband in, I think, 2009. An okay production for an opera far from being my favourite, but you cannot deny the location is fabulous.
