Niqab....or no niqab

Yeah, I know, another 'golden oldie '.

Apparently a proposal is to be put before parliament banning the niqab in public places and government buildings.

If by public places they mean 'in public' I think It's a dodgy idea. There's obviously a security issue in certain places but a wholesale ban is likely to cause more problems than it solves.

Egypt has enough disaffected citizens without adding niqab-wearers.

I think women should be allowed to wear some sort of clothing.. :cool:

I am taking to the niqab, have decided. Sunglasses so no one can see the colour of my eyes, the full monty. Probably break my neck the first time out. :lol:
