Written 60 years before my birth about my then village Clerkenwell, George walked the same streets and drank in the same pubs as did Karl Marx and me...

Mystery Plays were performed here in the 16c it was the 'hub of the spoken & written word & published as such was Clerkenwell, plus in it's environs it contained 4 major Gin distillers hence the amount of printed sh** one reads, but hey if one has to live somewhere EC1 ain't half-bad in my books..:cool:
Ps: Plus it contains some of the coolest restaurants on this planet..
