Sanitary towels.

The place for all those subjects that are of interest to women but might embarrass men.

Sanitary towels.

Post by Scottishtourist » Sat Nov 21, 2015 2:36 pm

Dusak wrote a good post where he didn't recognise a toilet freshener from a sanitary towel.

He scrubbed,scrubbed,scrubbed..and removed the offending article!

I once reported that a pack of 10 tampons cost me 40le in Luxor.A Christian pharmacist supplied them.

One for the women. When you started menstruating..what did you use?
An ST(sanitary towel)that writhed and leaked into your knickers?
Or a tampon?
Tampax(with outer cardboard)or Lillet..which actually caused you to "touch"your genitalia?

My Egyptian friends in Luxor all use towels.
They regard tampons as "dirty."

What's your views?

I think I should throw in the towel. The other things were called "candy floss" in my youth.

I really think the whole topic "Women's Talk"should be deleted.
Cos lets face it..the main contributers are men!

Let's replace it with "Men's Health."

How often do you examine your "balls?"

Would you even recognise any change in them?Would your "macho"mind deter you from visiting your GP?

Are you aware of the symptoms that indicate penile or testicular cancer?Do you also examine your breasts?
Male breast cancer rates are increasing.

If no woman wants to talk about womens issues..then maybe they'll get more excited talking about penises and testicles!

"Women's Talk"is a lost cause!

Not really.

If you managed to phrase your posts in a way which did not personalise a delicate topic I'm sure people would be interested in contributing.

Instead, you enquire into what female forum members did whilst menstruating and, understandably, get no response.

Try to be less.....gross.

Yours

Quite honestly newcastle....I can't think of a more delicate approach with regards to the subject!

What do you want me to do?talk in code?

We're women..we menstruate!

We don't have a choice with this. It's not like birth control!

I kinda thought that the subject would provoke some discussion.I'm a nurse,No bodily function shocks me.

I was wrong..and if your sensitivities are affronted..then I apologise.

If you have to lie about your opinion just so you can put another person down, you are a really nasty hypocrite.

The guilty party I am sure knows I am talking about them.

Why use an exclamation mark when a period would suffice. 8)

You are not always right ST. Our doctor started a programme for women to take the Pill with no breaks, so no menstruation. It worked for years, people were happy and saved money too - - -

I switched to that program around the same time the Government decided sanitary products were classed as a luxury item, and therefore subject to VAT. Now I do not have to pay anything at all for them, and I cost them money getting my pills for free. Only a man could have deemed anything to do with periods as luxury though

I suppose if you unwittingly married a nymphomaniac it could be deemed a luxury.
