I end up with pissy Moggie with most perfumes

I have a very acid skin (goes with the personality BB says

) but Prada is one of the very few perfumes I can wear that stays smelling as it should so I tend to wear that one all the time

You may be nearer the truth than you think, it is common for urine to be added to fake perfumes, apparently it gives the same tingle on the skin as the real stuff.

[face=Comic Sans MS]Has anyone read the book 'Perfume'? A very interesting read that certainly makes you think about smells and what goes into our perfumes, lotions and potions.[/face]

[face=Comic Sans MS]Unfortunately if it's on Ebay it's likely to be dodgy or old stock as it hasn't been available, certainly in the UK, for a couple of years now. [/face]
As long as you buy something cellophane sealed or stored properly you really can't go wrong. My absolute fave is Chloe Innocence which was discontinued in '97, when purchasing my last bottle the seller received a barrage of questions from me re: sunlight, heat etc

It still smells the same as it did back then
Nice to see you chaps here in on the act

Take my advice - I'm not using it.....

Oscar de la Renta is about all I wear. Sometimes "Beautiful" by Estee Lauder.

Countessa you are the only person I have heard of liking Paloma Picasso like me! I used Jai' Ose many years ago (discontinued), and PP is almost the same. I also like CK One for a light "every day" scent, ie. not for special occasions. I also like Pure Poison. I like the original Poison too, but like Opium, it gives me sinus headaches, especially in hot weather. I only wear these on winter nights now, to use them up.
Anything with citrus, jasmine and/or freesia elements.

I love Oscar De la Renta like PRchick. Used to wear So De la Renta and everybody asked what do I wear. Now I have lots of almost empty perfume bottels and I put on what ever comes out from the bottel.
I don't smell as good anymore as I used to. I do not travel enough and not nice smells in Luxor:roll:
