Now, I didn't know that!

Well as it's late summer I still sleep on the ground floor.
I move upstairs at the end of this month so rarely wake at 5am.

Balloons ? I never knew that they had been suspended.... 8)

For what reason?
I suggest you find out by:
a) reading the article
b) searching for relevant articles referring to the original suspension of flights
or a+b

and...

...ask your local informants why they have let you down and not reported this awful 'another nail in the coffin of Luxor' to you so that you could have fed your gloom and doom appetite.

Major Thom, your response does not reflect your previous comment.

Here is another of my classics - I never move or live anywhere to be liked. People know me for what I am and are good friends, people that do not know me make assumptions. I cannot help that but nor do I bother about these people and their assumptions.

Oh... I dunno.

At least, when moving, he’s probably never disappointed.

Not really Doctor, you know has well as a few others that myself and Lynne would always let our hairdown if we went out. Remember the time you burnt me off the road in Gezera I was on my Motorbike you were in your Jeep singing Born to be Wild at the top of your voice. I still laugh about it now... I was referring to people that have never met me, and in return I have never met them. You know George I always respected you, even if you were a little crazy at times, you were always willing to pass on information if you had it, in the same way as A4, and a few other people in Gezera. I would never deny that people we knew did offered us plenty of information, even DJ told me a few things on what to do in the Singature Room under the Law Courts. There were a lot of Cliques around Luxor and it was our aim to steer clear of them. When we knew we were moving we hardly went anywhere, and the biggest laugh was how I was able to distract people from knowing our final destination. A destination we love now, almost 3 years and it just gets better for us. In the mid Summer its still nice to be able to walk through the Forestry with the dogs, in the Winter a roaring log fire is lovely and hypnotising to watch the flames. We now have a free health service, (for Pensioners), now the government are planting 250,000 trees in an attempt to provide even fresher air. I am a Cyprus Tax Payer so saving roughly between 4K and 5K in taxes compared to when I was in Luxor, this will not alter when Brexit comes along either because I have my residents papers. In 2 years I will be able to get my full residents papers and get a Cypriot Passport on top of my British Passport and have dual nationality. The best thing is that we get no hassle in the City, we can shop at ease, and both the City and Villages are very clean. Our bins are emptied every other day, I think now the only thing that is dearer than Luxor is our Electric Bills. People say Cyprus is expensive, yes it is in tourist areas, (business is seasonal) but we can save more here than we could in Luxor.

Bins emptied every other day, how awful! I couldn't believe it when I visited Yildez lately to see a small skip at the end of her immaculate street, that was emptied at least three times a day.
No litter round the skip either.
