Artisan Market

Post by HEPZIBAH »

I'm surprised that this hasn't been posted on Luxor4U yet, considering the idea was floated and expanded here. Never mind - here is the information for those that might be interested.

:a2: I've just had a dig in the original thread and found it. I'm embarrassed to see that I actually posted after it. It was posted a while back now so I'll blame time and a memory that is becoming increasingly selective. :?
I suppose a reminder can't be a bad thing. (That's my new excuse and I'll stick to it.)

It will be another looong day, consuming copious amounts of liquid.
Hoping my sample cat 'titch doesn't freak out too much, she's deaf so that should help.

She's the only cat other than 'mumsie, the 'moudera of all 'bissa's allowed in the house.
Titch usually sleeps in the veg rack, unless she falls asleep during a film in the cinema. lol..... 8)

Titch was looking a bit freaked by all the people who came to look at her.
Take the other viewpoint that there was plenty of interest in the tables displaying various wares. There were some interesting items on show and were being sold so I think the idea was a success.

Seems like a good result. What was the end consensus of the stall holders? What of the shoppers? Will this continue? It's a great idea.

Went down to Gezira Gardens at 11.20 for the market - couldnt see any stalls. JJs section all in darkness, just a dance class on so went home again. Did they set out all the stalls at 11.25 and I missed it?
