Driving back towards Karnak today I saw the best ever transportation using a motorbike. Guy controlling it, guy on pillion supporting a guy with a full leg in plaster. The said leg projected out at a 90 degree angle to the seat. Traffic had to swerve to avoid snapping it off, went through the new police check point without a hitch, but guess who clipped it with a side mirror, my stupid taxi driver. Don't know what was shouted at him, but it was one of those rare moments that it was as clear as day an Egyptian was blushing.

I know this as been happening in the past, but since there is very little in the way of police on the streets of Luxor at the moment it seems to be happening more frequent now.

The incident of the video below shows the thieves just before stealing a bag belonging to a citizen, the thieves who roam the streets in the heart of Luxor city on motorcycles without number plates....
