Deportation

Post by DJKeefy » Wed Sep 05, 2018 4:32 pm

Another person (straight guy called Craig) got deported the other day, he does have a drink problem so maybe that's the reason why, yet I know quite a few expats who had drink problems when I lived there, so are they targeting pissy heads and druggies now :ni:

Just take care everyone :)

Spotted him a few times lying around or comatose in chairs with urine stained trousers.
I believe he was hospitalized a few times which shows a certain amount of local care..... 8)
Ps: I don't have a problem with alcohol, mentally debatable!

Best thing for him hope he returns to the UK and gets the help he so badly needs. Many many people here tried to help him but to no avail. As you say Keefy many people have problems with drink but none like Craig.

If it was the same guy he was begging for cash for food the other day but everyone knew it would be spent on booze.

He may just have got reported because someone got sick of the antics, or maybe a plea deal even. I thought the bloke was harmless even when under the influence. But I do agree with DJ people really need to take care.

I don't think it would be for begging otherwise the prisons would be full to bursting.

I Knew of one or two of our dearly departed friends in Luxor with a drink problem. The difference was, they didn't allow the problem they clearly had to manifest itself in public.

I know Graig very well. A very kind guy open to everybody but..............with a huge drinking problem. Yes he asked me also for money. I gave it one and he returned it when he was sober. The next time I told him i would not give. He apologized later on for asking me. Yes, a very nice guy but we could not help him. I feel sad it had to come to this point.

Well over the years the locals must have met some pretty weird tourists.
I have and I haven't been here as long as people, but visitors like Byron, Satchmo, Beyonce, Obama, Vin Diesel, Agatha Christie,
Eric the Indian, Me, A-4, Sinatra, Napoleon, Brando, Jerry Garcia, Che, Mohammed Ali, the list is endless.
but they all have one thing in common.......Egypt is magnetic it attracts...

I'll bet all the above were, or are slightly off 'kilter, magnetics either attract or repel it all depends on the individual.... 8)
Ps: The Egyptian Tourist Authority has been cleaning up the 'detritus (rubbish) as best they can for a long time and in all areas.
If you think the visitors here are 'nuts, I suggest you try Israel, there they are seriously f.......nuts. religion! 'nuff said....
