But you can get the same for half the price at the Brazilian section in Kier Zaman.....Dusak wrote:If the impossible were to ever happen, when you consider there is little change out of 1,000Le for a leg of imported Australian lamb in Arkwright's, then I would guess that it would be around 400Le per kilo. Still cheaper to go to the two pork butchers in Hurghada and stock up the freezer from there, not that I would personally speaking.
Yes I know, but only managed to get a leg once, and very nice it was, and yes, a lot cheaper. The Christian meat sellers, clean outlets, also sell it, but usually sell out as it is a popular alternative to the local un-chewable beef.Who2 wrote:But you can get the same for half the price at the Brazilian section in Kier Zaman.....Dusak wrote:If the impossible were to ever happen, when you consider there is little change out of 1,000Le for a leg of imported Australian lamb in Arkwright's, then I would guess that it would be around 400Le per kilo. I think you mean Who2 and DusakWinged Isis wrote:Are you prepared to name, and explain locations, please newcastle and Dusak?
I think there will be a need for something rather stronger than Imodium MT, if it's coming from a certain character I know in Hammiss,.......I really must forward an E-mail to Shnowder, if he's not to busy in his other line of work.Major Thom wrote: .. Reching for the Imodium.
All I know about the Christian meat sellers, they are in a side street off Television street. The side street faces a shop selling all sorts of bags, including suitcases. There are two or three shops, all very well cleaned and all goods refrigerated or frozen. The chicken they sell is very popular with the locals, being of good quality and cheaper than most. I was dragged down this side street, so really wasn't paying attention. They only open at 10am though. After Ramadan I will get more precise details.Winged Isis wrote:Are you prepared to name, and explain locations, please newcastle and Dusak?
I hate to mention it here Dusak, but the person in question, who I am sure you will know as the meat purveyor, is for certain gthe one, and dare I say it, only, none other than,.........Hillary Briss, the well known pie seller from Royston Vasey. Believe it or not has now become Luxor's one and only original,..........local shop, for local (awaja) people.Dusak wrote:All I know about the Christian meat sellers, they are in a side street off Television street.
