Actually, I don't know why anyone is surprised by MTs callousness. This is a man who has previously stated that if not sold, he would burn his villa to the ground, rather than let less fortunate families live in it. Who has sought advice and ignored it. Who has continually complained about Egypt, Egyptians, the costs and availability of imported items (luxury items to many of us), his neighbours, the local farmers, utilities - the list is endless.

He is moving on to a new life and discarding the remnants of the old. This includes killing his faithful friend. And this is a man who calls himself a Christian. I'm glad I'm a plain old heathen.

quick with your condemnation as always if your really that upset then the ones shouting the loudest stop shouting and give it a home
I think many would but most here have their own to care for.
if you are in the UK Kim can sort out getting the dog to you.

Well I live here and don't have a dog although I would love one. I realise though that it would be impossible, I like to go on holiday as the whim takes me, I may have to return to the UK, who knows what family emergencies arise?
Being a responsible pet owner I see it as my responsibility not to have a pet I can't adequately care for, you see if I have an animal then it truly becomes part of my life and family unlike some who just profess so.

What a good idea, Bombay!

So your in no position to Judge , you can take it of his Hands and YOU spend sometime re-homing it ,if your so concerned otherwise leave him to his own Decision

If it is, it's in very poor taste. :x

Not only is it in bad taste but to involve another person who knows nothing about it is appalling. It could have done Kim and the charity she runs harm. I will be taking Winged Isis's advice in future.
If he is moving then I withdraw my good wishes for the future. He will no doubt get what he deserves where ever he lives.

I would suggest you comment on when Kim gave me and my wife a lift in her car a couple of months ago to 40's Supermarket Bombay, when this was discussed about what would be the best thing for the dog. Remind Kim of this Bombay, she is a busy woman, and I am sure things get forgotten, in a similar way my selective memory forgets and will forget what people think are important. One thing I never forget though is interfering people that not just try to nosy into people's life but also try to govern people's life, a popular trait in Luxor and one I will never forget.
Sorry Yildiz I was born of Christian Faith, I have never commented on if I am practicing or not. I am not a believer in trying to be loyal to a faith, and in the next breath conning and ripping people off.
Any way it's goodbye from me and goodbye from him. Thank goodness, and good riddance.

100-1 against that being the last post under any pseudonym? 8)

"Kim gave me and my wife a lift in her car "

It has irked me for such a long time that I have to comment - even The Queen says "My husband and I...." and Her son says "My wife and I.........."

Though to be sure, "Me and my wife" written habitually by a nominally educated man speaks volumes. ;)
