I have heard this now from three different places including last night on the West Bank, people are talking about a new leader for Luxor, its a shame really in some respects because Luxor can never grow with all the chopping and changing but it seems like new brushes and things, and another move around. Yes Bombay it is talk at the moment, but where does this talk originate from and there is never smoke without fire.
I have made "Talk on the Street" the subject you know. Anyway get your wallets filled just in case.

That's the talk Dr. and it seems to be getting louder, in some ways I hope not, because its not good for our City, it diosientates people, and disorientates future projects. Our City requires some stabilisation.

Word on the street....but only allude to it and not actually share it - as is somewhat of a regular trait.

No better than the original gossips. If fact, some could say worse because it allows for more speculation, rumour and gossip.

:urm: ... and started here by someone who complains about rumour and gossip!

CE is alluding ST to gossip regarding the ex Governor of Luxor Samir Farag who may/may not be taking up his post again.
Now don't try to tell me that you are not absolutely riveted by that information. :)
And after his last term of office here he should be best described as infamous.

Thank you Carrie for the clarification.
Is that the one who was was put in place a year or so back and caused some controversy?i.e was somehow linked to the "group"who carried out the massacre at Luxor temple?
Sorry for asking..but I kinda lose track of all these names and faces!
Or is he someone else entirely, that I ain't heard about?
