Post by DJKeefy » Sun Sep 16, 2012 8:46 pm

A friend has just reported they have seen about 30 army/police trucks, 7 armoured vehicles, cranes and diggers pass them in Medina street, Egyptians watching dont know what is going on, maybe they are going to start knocking down some illegal buildings?

That was my conclusion when I read Noor's comment. Let's hope, whatever is happening, that it is happening peacefully and no one get's hurt.

Come on you lot up that way? I'm not getting dressed again to trail up there to find out what's going on, where are the locals when you want them?

I went to KZ (Metro supermarket) about 10pm and many armoured vehicles, police trucks were lined up along TV street, the line of them went all way from the top of the hospital on new TV street to the road where you turn to go to medina park. All the police were out of there vehicles and just seemed like they were chatting amongst themselves.
