The Pebble at the top. I used to find lots of those up in the Dales when I was a kid. And seashells sometimes.
The locals called it sea wood, basically an old piece of wood that had been subjected to termites or woodworm, then finally fossilised in that state. I have a piece of it at home that I brought back last time I was up there visiting my 2 old adopted Aunties.
My piece is very similar but more reddish in colour and probably a lighter type of wood as the termite holes go in much deeper.

Last African restaurant I visited in a town not too far from me was Jabula resturant, Now closed.. It had Crocodile on the menu, it was not too bad.. tastes like chicken to be honest.... 8)

Personally I like to get my moneys worth when purchasing food, so a good old fashined Mixed Grill or Full English for me evey time.... :eat

I cant eat Bottom feeders, like muscles etc, they make me violently ill, so I must have some Arab or jewish blood in me as they are not acceptable in both those religions.. Makes sense really when you consider what we put into the oceans. Maybe they did the same back in the old days ? :tk

Muscles (sic) are perfectly acceptable to Arabs (I assume you meant Muslims) ......unless derived from pigs.

So are mussels.

Bruce, Nick and myself once visited a 'new Smithfield fish restaurant called 'bubble & shell for an early luncheon.
I had lobster, Bruce had moules, Nick had oysters a dozen Loch Fyne, I believe.
And a couple of bottles of sancerre...

Walking back through the meat market's amazing central portico Nick projectile vomited twice.
Not a nice sight, but funny as f***, luckily all the porters had left in the morning to their pubs.. 8)

Ps: 'And none of us had 'the salmon mousse....
