Absolutely brilliant, and fairly easy to make if, One spends $40,000,000, brilliant acting, dancing and music of course.
Always was a fan of his and Bernie's music.

Nice to see our Clerkenwell Boy Dexter is doing great, from a child actor and now
after having directed 5 films including 'Eddy the Eagle same actor Jamie Bell and 'Sunshine on Leith.
Obviously Elton loved it as his husband paid for it, didn't the boy ? do well...
Well if you can afford it, your allowed to lie a 'little bit or a 'lottle bit!.....
Ps: I have a couple of stories....
Pss: The fish could have done with some aïoli, Oh! and went & slowly refilled my glass during the 1st sex scene...

Re: Rocketman 2019
Taron Egerton ( Taron means Thunder in Welsh ) is from Abergele about 40 miles from where I live. He is an excellent actor, I Liked his spart in "Kingsman" especially.
I am looking forward to seeing this movie, I Know Elton's story well, being a lifelong fan of him and Bernie too, I followed the story and the music as it unfolded and bought the albums as they came out and spent many a long evening listining the the music over and over agin, while I sat down drawing and painting or just watching the fire in the fireplace.
I was lucky to be born when I was as I got to witness the music as it happend from the Many great bands and singers that emerged and came to fame during that era..
I have so many favourite songs from Elton and Bernie, I doubt I could pick just one as my all time favourite.
One Sonfg I really Love Bernie didnt write, but for years I thought he had... It was from the "Lion King"
Lyrics Written by Tim Rice, as was the "Aida" Album.
However, my most anticipated track on the autobioghraphic album
"Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy" from 1975 is this one, and Elton said it's probably his favourite too..
The Album art is by Alan Aldridge, who left us 2 years ago at the age of 78..
His style in certain pictures such as in this Album Art had a Hieronymus Bosch feel to them..

Re: Rocketman 2019
Years ago I went to meet a mate Caleb Quaye.
He was into his 2nd day of continuous playing of his Sitar. 'He was a bit dedicated.
He had a place in Fellows Road, I made the tea, 'skinned up he..... 'kept playing, 'that's the Sitar for you!
I'mean who doesn't like Ravi Shankar ?
Next, I was looking for a record, 'If it could be so simple' by Longdancer Dave Stewart,
I went to see a pal, she went to Rocket Records, where they have a huge secure record library.
'My depressive years.....
These days one just taps into youtube, easy peasy.....
Ps: Oh! if your wondering of the connection, Caleb was in Elton's band and Elton owned Rocket Records..qed.

Re: Rocketman 2019
My computer ?
It just came up with Johnny Vegas on Desert Island Discs..
We first met him in the green room of some club attached to the Cafe Royal.
He was being interviewed by a mate Miranda.
He had just got off the train & was 'sweating like a pig, we got the girls to get him 2 pints,
it was a Camel free promotion.
The PR girls had already sorted us with zippo lighters & cartouches of Camels.
We became good mates after that, he even made a film at our place.
His wife was lovely 'Kitty but she never really realised his addictions...

The best time was when he was once poking our parrot 'Jesus, who bit his thumb to the quick..
he was pi**ed as usual.
A really nice guy, but a bit f***** up.....
Ps: 'he ended up jumping on Miranda, 'utter chaos resulted, but.... 'he was funny...
