I was listening to radio 4 the other day and it reminded me of this:
During the hight of brit pop I was in the toilets of The Vibe Bar in Brick Lane at the launch of Irvine Welsh's new book 'Filth'
in the next urinal was Jarvis ( who incidentally i caught doing 'charlie in the toilets just the night before at another party)
Me: "So, Jar is Nick doing your head ? Jarvis: "fu***g right he's doing my head" and he wasn't talking about sculpting either.
Me: "Yeh! it's all a bit common init' ?...Jar "clever cu**...ah! memories..

Re: Brit Pop!
Never really got to grips with Pulp, but this song was OK..
Jarvis was a bit of a knob end with Michael Jackson, but I suspect Charlie had more to do with that....
I thought the Streets were pretty good, in the same sort of mould as Pulp,
Wimmin eh ?

There's a time for everyone, if they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn.
