Old Qurna and the BBC

Post by Gordon292 »

Recently Hepzibah posted an article and a video about Old Qurna and I for one would like to thank her very much.I am hoping that in the very near future someone can come up with a similar video about or showing Old Luxor.

In the meantime for anyone who has access to Iplayer might I suggest they look at 2 BBC shows both from Sunday 26th August.

The first is on BBC4 called The thirties in colour. The second one is on BBC2 called Toughest Place to be a Ferryman. This second one features a very nice guy and there is a happy ending to the programme.

When it comes to shows like this the BBC can not be beaten in my humble oppinion.
So happy viewing everyone.
