Any "Whatsapp" users out there ?
If you use Whatsapp, there is a handy web app you can use, that brings your Whatsapp into a browser session on your PC or laptop.
Open up Whatsap on your phone, then on your PC / laptop, go to
https://web.whatsapp.com/
Follow the instructions on that site which basically tell you to tap on the menu icon in Whatsapp on your phone and select the "Whatsapp Web".
Your phone will then open the barcode scanner, point the phone at the barcode on the webpage, and Voila !
Whatapp is now in your PC browser.
Now you can use Whataspp in that browser and take advantage of the PC hardware.
Great for use with this forum, as if you have a picture on Whatsapp you want to share in your posts or put into your gallery, simply copy the picture ( right mouse click on the picture and select "save Image As" and put it on your desktop, then drag that picture from there into your post or upload it to your album in the usual manner.

Re: Whatsapp
Forgot to mention, but if you inadvertently forgot to log out of the browser session, The Whatsapp app will pop up a notification on your phone or tablet will remind you and give you the option to remotely log out of all sessions open in a web browser..

Re: Whatsapp
Worth knowing
Having an i-phone I usually use Facetime for chatting as most of my mates have Apple phones. I did put Whatsapp on my phone when my daughter was on holiday abroad so that we could keep in touch.

Re: Whatsapp
My colleagues at work have done that, but I like to just zap the VR code and I'm in.
