Does anyone know if there is anywhere in luxor where I could get tubing for my hearing aid pls

There's a shop on Manshiya, along from the Station towards the Iberotel, which sells various medical aids. They have things in the window, so you can recognise it. I'm not guaranteeing it, but I'm almost sure that I got some hearing aid batteries there once.

If I got a taxi where would I ask for?

If you get the Google map of Luxor (type in Sofra restaurant, as it's near there) the shop is (was?) on the NW corner of the 4 way junction of Al Masaken Al Shaabeya, El-Mansheya, Madrasset Al Banat and Mohamed Farid. I suppose it will depend upon how good your driver's English is, or if he knows what a map is, or if he knows street names when they're written in English!
I cannot think of any other advice I can give, sorry.
