Maybe I'm being a little premature but I've been checking flights from London to Luxor for August back early September on the Egyptair website and found a fare for £472. That's almost 50% less than I paid 18 months ago.

It's worth keeping an eye out for these fares.

Don’t forget to add the cost of your pcr test, before you come and another test on departure.

Oh....and PCR tests on days 2 and 8 when you’re back in UK....whilst quarantining for 10 days.

Heaven help you if any of the 4 PCR tests prove positive

A lot depends on what the govt will require in September. But yes you're right the PCR tests should be budgeted to the cost of the trip.

Not sure if Egypt is on the hit list yet.

A good thing about Luxor in August is that you can sterilise surgical instruments in the noon day sun.

I’d be surprised if the virus survives it.
