Who cut the cable

Post by crewmeal »

It seems many of you in Egypt have had your broadband downgraded due to a cut cable in the Med. Dusak I hope you're still managing some sort of tin can signal in Karnak.

That must be the most cut and mended piece of cable ever! At least it keeps someone in work.

On top of this we have:

Vodafone 3G resumed normal service after the network experienced an hour-long disruption due to technical problems affecting the company’s mobile network.

The UK-based telecommunications company’s users in some areas of Egypt were barely able to make outgoing calls for an hour on Wednesday, the company’s Head of Media and Public Relation Sector told the state-run Middle East News Agency (MENA).

The technical error affected only the company’s 3G services while 2G and 4G services continued working normally, Essam clarified.
