I dare not tell on here her opinions of this forum only to say her eyebrows were raised a few times.
Ah! That would be the site/forum you have mentioned before, but not provided a link to when asked. Perhaps if the lady administrator reads this post she would be kind enough to give us all the link. I'm sure we'd all love to see where we are going wrong and learn how to get it right.

Actually, I have friends considering Cyprus for an autumn break. I think they would be interested in reading a local forum too to pick up hints and tips.

Cyprus is great and with a change of plane in Cairo its a 1hr+1hr flight certainly a good option for a visa run if required great food and drink. There is also a branch of Lidl and a "Tesco's" supermarket trying to remember the trading name in Cyprus.

Cheap car hire and they drive on the correct side of the road!

and a great curry house!

If the lady is so surprised by what is written on here and hasn't the time to look for herself then I wonder why she or you would be asking for advice on this site. Tell her to check Trip Advisor.

She must have lived a very sheltered life, but as others have said, lets have the link to her wonderful site so that we can all have a look at how it is done., or is this just another of your tall tales? ;)

:urm: A Facebook group! Is this what MajorThom called a Forum? Surely not! He doesn't use that awful social media stuff. Is this a case of bumbling terminology again, or deliberate intent to deceive? Perhaps both!

I'll pass that link on to my friends but I doubt they'll use it as the genuinely do not use Facebook.

What area? I'm looking to take a ten day brake there next year. I've searched the net but so far no luck in finding local forums for expats. I'm looking at Larnaka. Sod TA for travel information, I'm just completing mine on my trip to Athens. It will ether persuade you to visit, or stay away, depending on the individual. Hope to post Monday.

 Great! Thanks crewmeal. I've just opened your link. I should have done that before posting my last post. The link you have given is to the Luxor related Facebook group. Not a lot of help there regarding Cyprus! I don't understand why you've given that link, but if you have one to the mysterious Cyprus Forum I'm sure it would be received with interest.

A closed FB group "Luxor4U Network - Original".

Nothing to do with this esteemed forum ;)

And certainly no use regarding Cyprus (or much else)

One simple question for Major Thom can he please post a link to the Cypriot forum site, it might be very helpful for those thinking of doing the visa run to Cyprus or those just wanting to holiday there and we might all learn from it.

I was confused by all the comments on here. I've looked it up and the nearest forum which would probably suit some on here is "Cyprus Brides" Any good?

Crewmeal, when MT makes a post ‘confusion’ is a normal side effect.
