The arrival time during the summer season is 19.50 at the airport this is the shedule from 7th May to 29th October.
I have very rarely had guests from cruise boats unless the foods been bad on the boat or not able to serve anything especially required like interesting veg options. From a restaurant point of view the boats don't bring any business only guests in hotels.
Thomsons programme this winter would have been Nile Palace, Sheraton plus Ibrotel through First Choice all Inclusive. This is the same programme from March 2014.

Important tip for the independent Nile Traveller:
Always sneak loads of Stella onboard.
Buy a very cheep fan heater they don't wast money this time of the year on heating the cabins.
3. Hide your dope there' a right bunch of 'tea-leaves….

Good point my dear Dr, Travco have banned all smoking in cabins, infact the only place they now allow it is on the top deck.

P.S. - However there are a few three star boats that a couple of my Egyptian mates run, would not in the least mind the odd 'cherry bomb' on their carpets,- better chance of the whole thing going up, rather than waiting to hit an ice berg coming down the Nile.

Why would you need a heater? I have cruised the Nile in December, and spent several winters here without considering heating. The temperature at night in my room at Sheherazade has never dropped below 17C. Are there a bunch of wimps around?
