One of the oldest 'amusement attractions in the uk' 'The Fortune Teller Machine' on Southport pier is a strange enchanting and spooky device used since the 40's and still working some say it has done without electricity.
With the closure of my beloved fair ground 'Pleasureland' I have been inspired to capture images showing the strange underworld of carnival life this being one such expression of that.
